Heavy Police Presence Thursday Evening On Racine’s Northside

rapd 1On Thursday, October 20, 2016, at 1959 hours, the Racine Police Department responded to 1414 Buchanan St. for the report of a civil disturbance. The caller stated that their daughter was being held inside the home against her will.

Upon arrival Officers did hear voices within the residence but no one would answer the door. S.W.A.T. and Crisis Negotiation Teams were activated. One male party came out of the residence willingly. In searching the residence Darrle Dotson was located in the home. Dotson was taken into custody for an active warrant for his arrest. Nobody else was located within the home.

There was no evidence that anyone was being held against their will in the home. No other information is being released at this time.
