A Winter Storm Warning has been posted starting at 6 pm through Sunday evening across various counties in Wisconsin. Snow has already spread into far southwest Wisconsin. The snow will continue spreading east and north across the rest of southern Wisconsin through this evening.
Accumulating snow will continue through Sunday morning, before tapering off from west to east during the afternoon and early evening. Total snowfall across southern Wisconsin will be in the 7 to 10 inch range. The snow will be dry and powdery. Southeast winds of 10 to 15 mph with a few gusts to 20 mph will create some blowing and drifting snow Sunday morning. West winds gusting to 20 to 25 mph later Sunday night into early Monday will cause patchy blowing snow.
