Mount Pleasant Police-Man Pulled Over For Speeding Says He had Shot at Someone

On 4-10-17 at 1:45am a Mount Pleasant Police Department officer observed a red Toyota Corolla 4-dr with a Texas registration plate of HWH4000 south in the 2400 block of Racine Street in excess of 100 mph.  The officer caught up to the vehicle which stopped on STH 32 near Larson Street.  The driver was identified as 18 year old Z’Core Hester-Henderson from Missouri.  Inside the car was a pistol along with several spent shell casings.  Hester-Henderson was acting very strangely and said he had just shot at someone.  He would not disclose where the shooting took place or any other details about the situation.   At this time we are unaware of any shooting victims or a crime scene.

Hester-Henderson was detained at the Racine County Jail on a charge of Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Unreasonable and Imprudent Speed.  This investigation is still pending.
